I started blogging in Sept 2006, having been prompted by the PM blog. It has not been a continuous blog. I ran a basic script blog I had found on the internet until Feb 2009, when I finally got fed up with the limitations of the script and the sheer volume of spam comments that I could not block. Also, the server which hosted it would no longer allow me to log in (although I could still add to the blog…).
The content of the blog has slighly changed, in that I record minor events (such as flowering orchids) in more detail than in the past. In that respect that part is more of a personal diary put up on the net rather than the more normal content of a weblog, but if I were to try and keep the two things separate, I’d probably not do anything and lose the lot.
